About the Journal

The International Journal of Information System and Innovative Technology (IJISIT) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on applied research in information systems and innovative information technologies. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, by PT Geviva Edukasi Trans Teknologi.

IJISIT aims to publish original and high-quality research articles emphasizing the design, implementation, evaluation, and application of information systems in real-world contexts. The journal prioritizes system-oriented and application-driven research that demonstrates the practical integration of computing and engineering technologies to support organizational, industrial, or societal processes.

The journal covers research areas related to information systems and applied information technology, including but not limited to:

  • Information systems design, development, and implementation;
  • Applied computer science and information technology;
  • Artificial intelligence and intelligent information systems;
  • Data analytics, big data, and decision support systems;
  • Internet of Things (IoT)-based information systems;
  • Cloud computing and distributed information systems;
  • Information security and networked information systems;
  • Human–computer interaction and user-centered system design; and
  • Digital transformation and smart information systems.

Studies related to engineering or hardware technologies are considered only when they are clearly integrated into information systems or applied IT solutions and their contributions are evaluated at the system or application level. Manuscripts focusing solely on hardware design, circuits, signal processing techniques, or component-level engineering without a clear information systems context are outside the scope of the journal.

Peer Review

IJISIT applies a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

All submissions and editorial processes are managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Open Access

IJISIT provides immediate open access to all published content. There is no embargo period, and readers may access published articles without subscription or access fees.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Copyright

Authors retain copyright to their published work and grant IJISIT the right of first publication.

Submission, peer review, editorial processing, and online publication are provided free of charge.

Publication Frequency

IJISIT publishes two regular issues per year:
