Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Information System & Innovative Technology (IJISIT) implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality, originality, and integrity of all published manuscripts.

The peer review process consists of the following stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
Each submitted manuscript is initially evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor to assess its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, and compliance with submission guidelines.

  2. Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. In the double-blind review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

  3. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the Editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

  4. Revision and Re-evaluation
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ feedback. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation if necessary.

  5. Final Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor after ensuring that all reviewers’ comments have been adequately addressed.

All manuscripts are processed and managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to ensure transparency, traceability, and consistency in the editorial workflow.
