Focus & Scope

The International Journal of Information System & Innovative Technology (IJISIT) aims to publish original and high-quality research articles focusing on the implementation, evaluation, and application of information systems and applied information technologies.

IJISIT emphasizes applied and system-oriented research, where computing and engineering technologies are used to support, enable, or enhance information systems in real-world environments. The journal prioritizes studies that demonstrate system integration, practical deployment, and measurable impact, rather than purely theoretical or component-level contributions.

The scope of IJISIT includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Information Systems Design, Development, and Implementation

  2. Applied Computer Science and Information Technology

  3. Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Information Systems

  4. Data Analytics, Big Data, and Decision Support Systems

  5. Internet of Things (IoT)–based Information Systems

  6. Cloud Computing and Distributed Information Systems

  7. Information Security and Networked Information Systems

  8. Human–Computer Interaction and User-Centered System Design

  9. Digital Transformation and Smart Information Systems

Studies related to engineering or hardware technologies are considered only when they are clearly integrated into information systems or applied IT solutions, and when their contributions are evaluated at the system or application level. Manuscripts that focus solely on hardware design, circuits, signal processing techniques, or component-level engineering without a clear information system context are outside the scope of the journal.
